Jordan Lisiecki claimed 24th position in 21:32, and Jesse Schaumburg earned 25th with a personal best of 21:38. Liam Flores completed the course in 22:00, while Kilyan Laubenstein closed out the effort in 24:16.

“Senior Hanna Faber has been an important contributor to the girls’ program with conference championships and state qualifiers, while Seniors Jesse Schaumburg and Jordan Liisiecki have helped lead the boys as the boys continue to improve,”said Lomira Head Coach Tyler Witkowski

“It’s hard to believe we’ve reached the end of the regular season. These seniors have invested so much into this program, and their commitment means a lot. They’ve helped build the culture we have today, and their leadership shows in the way they work, compete, and support their teammates. We’re proud of what they’ve accomplished, but we’re also excited that they still have championship racing ahead of them,” said Witkowski.

“The biggest thing right now is that the kids are ready,” said Witkowski.  “We’ve continued to practice hard right through this meet, and the team is running well. We’re seeing the commitment and the confidence we want at this point in the season. Now it’s about staying healthy, trusting our training, competing for one another, and being ready when championship racing begins.”

Lomira Cross Country teams will compete in the Flyway Conference Meet on October 15 at 4 p.m., hosted by WLA.
