A night of spooky fun was had at the Lomira Athletic Center on Saturday, Oct. 17. Residents gathered for a costume contest, pie judging, spooky trail and a movie.
The event began with a pie judging with three Lomira firefighters as the judges. Evie Flasch and her pecan pie took first place. Next was the costume contest with a total of 13 entries. The top five costumes won a bag of goodies, but all those who participated got a prize.
The fun didn’t end there, the sky got darker and the spooky trail opened. Along the nature trail by the park, pumpkins, skeletons and ghosts lined the path. Those who dared to be scared took a walk around at night.
A halloween movie, hot chcolate, campfire and baked goods were also available for the event.
