Bonnie Ann Hargrave, 74, of Theresa, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2026, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison with her loving family by her side.
A funeral service for Bonnie was held on Friday, Oct. 16, 2026, at 3 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville with Rev. Nathaniel Miniatt presiding. The visitation for Bonnie was held at the funeral home in Mayville on Friday, Oct. 16, from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. Following the service, interment took place at Union Cemetery in Theresa.
Bonnie was born on November 10, 1951, to Robert “Bob” and Helen (Gremminger) Resheske. She was a graduate of Mayville High School. In 1970, Bonnie was united in marriage to her best friend and soulmate, Steven Hargrave.
Bonnie had a passion for great music and attended many music festivals with Steven, other family, and friends. They went to various country concerts, but her love of Elvis made the Elvis tribute show top on her list. Her photo with “Elvis” has been displayed in their home for the last 30 years.
Bonnie enjoyed decorating with chicken décor in her kitchen and owl décor in the living room. It seemed like the more unique and gaudy something was, the more she loved it.
Bonnie lived life to the beat of her own drum, and her family loved her for it.
Bonnie was a fantastic cook and baker, always preparing something delicious for her family to taste test. She also looked forward to trips to the casino to gamble.
Bonnie’s creative passion for crocheting was her way of expressing her love for those around her. Every baby in the family received a handmade blanket from Bonnie that she carefully crocheted with love. She was always crocheting something for someone she loved. Bonnie’s family now treasures the items she made as a lasting reminder that her love will never go away.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Steven; her sons, Steven (Angela) Hargrave and Ryan Hargrave; five grandchildren, Karisa, Jasmine, Marshall, Natalie, and Paige; siblings, Therese “Tess” Elm, Robert “Bobby” Resheske, Mary (Tom) Bechert, David “Punky” Resheske, and Darlene (Glenn) Wiese. Bonnie is further survived and dearly missed by other relatives and friends.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Cory Hargrave; brother-in-law, Ivan Elm; and sister-in-law, Patrice Resheske.
