✝ Rosemary Merkes Rosemary Merkes, 88, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019. She was born in Stratford on March 23, 1931, to parents Anton and Theresa (Baur) Schoenfuss. Rosemary was united in marriage on June 14, 1950, to Hubert Merkes. Rosemary enjoyed playing cards and board games, tending to her garden, bird watching and attending the grandchildren’s events.
