ZACH COOK Residents of the Village of Theresa may have hard some tornado warning sirens in the middle of September, but not because of any incoming storm. Earlier this spring, the village learned that one of the three sirens in town was not functioning properly. The siren located at the top of the Department of Public Works garage was malfunctioning.

Lomira Lions Club To Celebrate 75 Years


ZACH COOK The Lomira Lions Club is preparing to celebrate a milestone anniversary next weekend.The club was issued its charter on September 26, 1944 so it will be recognizing its 75th anniversary with a special celebration at the Golf Club at Camelot on OctoberLions Clubs around the country are wellknown for their committment to support the communities they live in. Lomira Lion Gene Schroeder, who has been a Lomira Lion for nearly three decades, said the club’s committ- to helping others is why he got involved.
