First Digital Learning Day Viewed As Success


ZACH COOK The Lomira School District had its inaugural Digital Learning Day (DLD) on February 18 and, by all accounts, it was a successful trial run.A digital learning day is the use of technology to enable people to learn anytime and anywhere. Lomira digital learning days offered a blended learning environment for students in grades 6-12.

Board Discusses Park Pavilion Upgrades


ZACH COOK The Lomira Village Board revisited the topic of upgrades for the pavilion at Sterr Park. “This got started last year, but things were put on halt after we got more in-depth with it,” DPW Director Nick Roskopf said. “We took a better look at the structure of the pavilion and I think that building is in rougher shape than what we originally anticipated.”
