Richard P. Sabish


Richard P. Sabish, 83, of Campbellsport went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at his home. He was born in Lomira on February 5, 1940, the son of Paul and Adelia “Dolly” (Wagner) Sabish. Dick served in the U.S. Army National Guard and on active duty during the Cuban missile crises. On October 16, 1999, he was united in marriage to Geraldine “Gerri” Zingsheim Pesch at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Campbellsport.Dick worked at Regal Ware for many years retiring in 2003. He belonged to the Lomira American Legion Post #347, Amvets, the 127th Infantry of the 32nd Red Arrow Division and the 25 Year Club at Regal Ware. Dick loved hunting, fishing, and their camper at Lake Puckaway. He also enjoyed playing sheepshead, the casinos, going to gun and car shows, cruises, their trip to Germany, and reading.Survivors include his wife, Gerri; children, Bambi (Bob) Huck, Scott (Chip) Sabish and Jason Sabish; step-children, Sharon (Mark) Beck, Mary (Scott) Rammer, and Gene (Deb) Pesch; grandchildren, Meckenzie Sabish, Jacob Sabish, Kate Sabish, Josh (Cassie) Shaudvitis, and Jamie Shaudvitis; step-grandchildren, Chad Nagel, Erin (fiancé, Kevin Rood) Rammer, Erica Rammer, and Justin (Amy) Pesch; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Shaudvitis and Jayce Shaudvitis; sister, Sandra (Dan) Massie; sisters-in-law, Patricia Rosenthal, Kathy (Rich) Diels, and Janet Zingsheim; other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, stepson Gerald Pesch, brothers-in-law and sister-in-law Jim Schwefel, Joanne Bakes, Bill Zingsheim, and Gordon Rosenthal.Visitation will be Thursday, April 27, from 1 p.m. until the time of Mass at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 406 E. Main Street, Campbellsport.A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, April 27, at 4 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church. Rev. Lorraine R. Bauman

Lorraine R. Bauman


Lorraine R. Bauman (nee Wendlandt), 86, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. She was born on September 24, 1936, a daughter of the late Reinhard and Ruth Wendlandt (nee Wheeler). Lorraine at tended St. Peter’s Lutheran Elementary School and graduated from Winnebago Lutheran Academy. After High School, she graduated from Moraine Park Technical School with her degree in Nursing.On January 28, 1956, she married Allen Bauman at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Lorraine was the church organist for Immanuel Lutheran Church in Campbellsport and sang for many church services, funerals, and weddings. She played the piano for the WELS Worship Service at the Lutheran Home and taught piano lessons out of her home for many years. Lorraine worked as an LPN and also in Medical Records for Hope Nursing Home in Lomira. She enjoyed sewing, painting, gardening, and crafting.Those left behind to cherish her memory include her children, Wayne Bauman, Wendy (Tom) Treleven, John (Michele) Bauman, and Joanne (Duane) Giese; grandchildren, Sara Treleven, Ryan Treleven, Molly Treleven, Jon Treleven, Scott Treleven, David Ziegel, Justine Ziegel, Derek Giese, Alyssa Giese, Rachel Bauman, and Blair Bauman; numerous great-grandchildren; and sister, Kathleen (Eugene) Netzel. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allen; grandson, Eli Bauman; and nephew, Joel Netzel.Funeral service was held on Friday, April 21, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 55 Prairie Rd, Fond du Lac, WI 54935. Rev. Mike Weigand officiated and burial followed at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.Visitation was at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Faith Lutheran Church or the Winnebago Lutheran Academy.Twohig Funeral Home is serving the family with online guestbook and condolences at www.twohigfunerals.com
