David W. Heider

David W. Heider, 55, of Campbellsport passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at his home with his beloved family gathered around him. He was born in Milwaukee on February 2, 1967, the son of Dennis and Carol (nee Winzentsen) Heider. On May 8, 1993, Dave married Peggy M. O’Brien in Las Vegas.

He served in the U.S. Army Reserve and worked as a lineman for WE Energies. He enjoyed golfing, shooting trap, hunting and softball in his younger years. Dave loved getting his sons involved in sports where he also coached.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy; sons, Dylan James Heider (Kaitlyn), Dean Michael Heider (Hannah), Mitchell Dennis Heider, Michael Del Heider and Mason David Heider; parents, Dennis and Carol; mother-in-law, Nancy O’Brien; brother, Derek (Donette) Heider; sister, Danielle (Brian) Jenders; other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were his father-in-law, Richard O’Brien, and grandparents, Delores and Delman Heider.

A Memorial Service was held on Sunday, February 20, at 3 p.m. at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St., Campbellsport. Rev. Paul Mittermaier officiated.

Memorials to the family are appreciated. The family extends a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Froedtert Hospital and to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice especially Mary Ann.
