John Eldon Giese

John Eldon Giese, age 66 years, of Oshkosh “originally from Campbellsport,” unexpectedly passed away on January 24, 2022, at his home.

John was born on March 19, 1955, in West Bend to Donald and Mary Giese (Winckler).

He graduated from Campbellsport High School. John loved spending time with his grandchildren going to county fairs, playing mini golf, watching movies and Packer games, and camping and taking trips with his family.

Those John leaves behind to cherish his memory include his two children, Todd (Cindy) Giese and Jessica (Lucas) Wanner; three grandchildren, Skye Wanner, Starr Wanner, and Wyatt Giese; siblings, Ronnie Giese, Dale Giese, and Jo Ann (Tim) Giese-Kent.

He is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Giese; sister, Annie Giese; and sister-in-law, Shirley Giese.

Funeral Service for John will be held at 8 p.m. on Friday, February 4, 2022, at Twohig Funeral Home (109 W. Main St. – Campbellsport, WI 53010) with Father Jacob Strand officiating. Inurnment at St. Matthew’s Catholic Cemetery in Campbellsport at a later date.

John’s family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
