Ronald E. Heid

Ronald E. Heid, 87, of Wa­ter­town, passed away on Thurs­day, Jan. 20, 2022, at VA Hos­pi­tal in Mil­wau­kee.
Ronald was born the son of Ed­mund C. and Eve­lyn M. (Prag) Heid on No­vem­ber 22, 1934.
He was a grad­u­ate of Hori­con High School.
He served his coun­try hon­or­ably in the US Army. Ron had re­tired from John Deere. He also worked for Kline’s de­part­ment store in Wa­ter­town and was a jan­i­tor for the Wa­ter­town School Dis­trict.
He was a mem­ber of Sa­cred Heart Parish in Hori­con.
Ron is sur­vived by long­time com­pan­ion, De­lores Raether of Wa­ter­town; fur­ther sur­vived by other rel­a­tives and friends.
He was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents; sis­ter, Char­lotte Pagel; brother-in-law, Buddy Pagel; sis­ter, Eliz­a­beth Al­lard; and two nephews, Jef­frey and David Al­lard.
A pri­vate memo­r­ial ser­vice for Ron will be held.
