June “Tootie” Er­ick­son (nee Wal­len­der), 92, of Brownsville was called home to be with the Lord on Sat­ur­day, Jan. 1, 2022, with her fam­ily by her side.
She was born on June 6, 1929, to the late William and Bertha (nee Salz­mann) Wal­len­der.
She was united in mar­riage to her high school sweet­heart, Mor­ris Er­ick­son, on May 14, 1949, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in North Fond du Lac.
June was a mem­ber of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church for many years.
June loved gar­den­ing, cook­ing, read­ing, word­ searches, and mak­ing crafts. To­gether her and Morry en­joyed fish­ing in Birch­wood, WI. She es­pe­cially en­joyed spend­ing time with her fam­ily, grand­chil­dren, and great-grand­chil­dren and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Those June leaves be­hind to cher­ish his mem­ory in­clude her three chil­dren, Mar­cia (Daniel) Valle of Brownsville, Mary (Dan) Dalle Nog­are of West Bend, and Lau­rie (Michael) Mar­vin of Kaukauna; daugh­ter-in-law, Clau­dia Er­ick­son of Fond du Lac; nine grand­chil­dren, Joel (Vicki) Valle, Dawn (Rustin) Billings, An­gela (Brett) Kaehler, Danielle (Dave) Kubal, Melissa (Corey) Sanders, Jen­nifer (Allen) Kier­nan, Amanda (Nathan) Bod­den, Kelli (Derek) Harm­sen, and Keith Er­ick­son; 20 great-grand­chil­dren; her sis­ter, Ann Meyer; sis­ter-in-law, Judy Wal­len­der; for­mer son-in-law, John Muent­ner; spe­cial friends and neigh­bors, Jim and Kris Young; many nieces, nephews, other rel­a­tives and friends.
In ad­di­tion to her par­ents, June was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band, Mor­ris Er­ick­son; her son, Michael Er­ick­son; grand­son, Michael Mar­vin; three broth­ers, Robert (Patsy) Wal­len­der, Nor­bert (Kar­i­lyn) Wal­len­der, and William Wal­lan­der; brother-in-law, Howard (Jean) Er­ick­son; and other close rel­a­tives.
Memo­r­ial Ser­vice for June will be held on Fri­day, Jan. 7, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (605 High­land Ave. – Brownsville, WI 53006) with Pas­tor William Carter of­fi­ci­at­ing. Ser­vice will be live-streamed at www.​facebook.​com/​stp​auls​brow​nsvi​lle/​live
June’s fam­ily will greet rel­a­tives and friends at church on Fri­day from 9 a.m. until 11:15 a.m.
