Do kids still get as excited, the way we use to, long before Christmas? In the grocery store, Mom gave Dad a glance. He’d nod and she grabbed a bag of mixed nuts.
At home, a huge red glass bowl with a chrome center post with slots for a nutcracker and picks got a thorough washing before placement as the centerpiece on the kitchen table. This was
