Todd J. Lazich

Todd J. Lazich, 68, of Neosho passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2021, at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.
Todd spent his early years, and most of his adult life at the Copper Mug Motel and Supper Club. Many friends and family gathered there for holidays, summer parties, and of course a good fish fry. He also worked at Johnson Controls where he was a skilled electrical technician.
In his spare time, he followed the green energy trend and became certified in solar panels installation, completing a few small projects.
Todd’s zeal for life will be remembered by everyone who knew him. He was an accomplished lifelong musician, playing instruments of all kinds, favoring piano, saxophone, and harmonica. He enjoyed a variety of music, and ventured to many concerts including the famous Woodstock.
When he wasn’t practicing or playing with “the band” you could find him on the golf course with any number of friends. An avid sports fan, he followed golf, baseball, football, and his cherished Milwaukee Bucks.
Although he enjoyed professional sports, his favorite teams were any his children played on. Todd found ways to share his hobbies and passions with all of his kids whether it be sports, music, or tinkering with projects.
In recent years he enjoyed the new title of Papa, spending time doting on his granddaughter. His children will greatly miss him.
He was the loving dad of Ashley (Brad) Frank, Max (Angela) and Zachary Lazich; proud papa of Nora Frank. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.
Todd was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Maxine Lazich; and brother, Scott “Boomer” Lazich.
We would like to thank the St. Luke’s Neuro ICU and Oncology staff for their exceptional care.
A visitation took place on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Neosho, with Mass of Christian Burial following. Interment was in St. Bartholomew Cemetery, Rubicon/Neosho.
