As a blue-eyed, blond toddler, he was afraid of overhead planes, running to mom or pop warningly calling out “Airpane, airpane” while pointing upward.
This would all change.
An early Christmas gift, Bob was born in the Fond du Lac hospital, December 22, 1943, the only son of Dorothy and Harold Muellenbach.
