MHS Boys Tennis Champions Remembered

JIM BARTELT High school boys competitive tennis officially began in Mayville in the spring of 1940. I found an article in The Mayville News which was published on May 12, 1920. It stated, “Some of the boys of the high school fixed up a makeshift tennis court. With many boys interested in tennis, the boys agreed to build another tennis court.”
