Eugene R. Krahn

Eugene R. Krahn, 85, of Beechwood passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2020 at his home.
He was born on May 18, 1935 to the late Ervin and Marie (nee Kreutzinger) Krahn in Sheboygan, WI. On November 6, 1965 he was united in marriage to Ann Sullivan at Holy Angels Catholic Church in West Bend. Eugene honorably served in the United States Navy, serving on the USS Alamo. He worked for West Bend Equipment Company for many years. Eugene was a member of the American Legion Triangle B, Post #193 in Beechwood, Batavia, and Boltonville. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and deer hunting. He also enjoyed playing cards with friends. Eugene and Annie loved to go up north to their trailer in Wild Rose with their friends Frank and Elaine. They enjoyed snowmobiling and were charter members of the Night Fliers Snowmobile Club of Beechwood. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Those Eugene leaves behind to cherish his memory include his eight siblings, Shirley Mull, of West Allis, Ellis “Ollie” Krahn, of Beechwood, Eleanor (Syl) Stern, of West Bend, Wesley (Sandy) Krahn, of Arizona, Donna Wimmer of North Carolina, Sylvester “Skee” (Jean) Krahn, of Beechwood, Neil (Barbara) Krahn, of Missouri, and Karen (Raymond) Borchardt, of Arizona; sister in-law, Doris Krahn, of Beechwood; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Annie Krahn; three brothers, Adrian Krahn, Gaylord (Marjorie) Krahn, and infant Ronald Krahn; a sister, Dianna Bellin; two sisters-in-law, Monica Krahn and Marjorie Krahn; and brother-in-law, James Sullivan.
A funeral service in remembrance of Eugene and his sister Dianna will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 3 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service, 215 Forest Ave., Kewaskum. Burial will follow at Beechwood Union Cemetery with military honors.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m.
