Silverius “Silver” M. Polster, 86, of Theresa, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at the Crossroads Care Center in Mayville. Silver was born the son of Theodore and Clara (Schraufnagel) Polster on June 22, 1933, in Theresa. He was a graduate of Mayville High School. Silver was a Korean veteran of the US Army. On October 4, 1958 he married Delores Fritz at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Theresa. Silver was a member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Theresa. He was a charter member of the Theresa Lions. Silver enjoyed gardening, visiting with anyone and loved tinkering on anything. He will be missed by his wife, Delores; his daughter, Christine Polster; sister-in-law, Eulalia (“Micki”) Polster; brothers-in-law, LeRoy Fritz, Albert Soschinske and Lyle Becker. He is further survived by other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Silver was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Clara Polster; and his brother, James Polster. A private family graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 7, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hartford with the Rev. Father Tom Biersack presiding.
