Marcella “Sally” L. Reabe of Hartford, 94, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020.
She was born on August 7, 1925, in Williamstown to parents Arnold and Mabel (Fink) Franke.
Sally was united in marriage on October 15, 1949, to Norbert Reabe at the St. Kilian Parsonage.
She worked at Natural Casing Company for fifteen years and retired from Power Products. Sally enjoyed her and Norbert’s many trips up north, going fishing and playing cards.
Marcella is survived by brother, Vernon (Jean) Franke of Juneau; brothers-in-law Raymond Roll of Horicon, David (Barbara) Reabe of Oshkosh; special nieces, Gale (David) Groth of Lomira, Sara Schultz of Hartford and Judy Rose of Fond du Lac; also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert; two brothers, Victor (Jeanette) Franke and Vilas Franke; five sisters, Anita (Elroy) Thrun, Gladys (Raymond) Heintz, Eldine Roll, Delores (Stub) Weber and Millie (Digger) De Groot; brothers-in-law, Wallace (Mary Lou) Reabe, Harry (Gertha) Reabe and Clarence (Bernice) Reabe.
Visitation at the Peace Lutheran Church, 1001 Center St., Hartford on Saturday, Feb. 29 for family and friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
Funeral services for Sally will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, on Saturday, Feb. 29 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Aaron Steinbrenner presiding. Committal on Monday, March 2 at St. Kilian Catholic Church Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Memorials are appreciated to the donor’s choice.
