Roger G. Hogue, age 70, of the Town of Osceola, passed away on November 8, 2019, at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls.
He was born in Adell, WI on April 1, 1949, a son of the late Glenwood Hogue and Olga (Ebert) Backhaus.
Roger attended grade schools in Sheboygan Falls, WI.
He served in the United States Marine Corps and was an active member of the American Legion Post #222 in Campbellsport, WI.
Roger was a lifelong truck driver. He was always a very dedicated and hard worker. He worked for various companies early on, drove for LD Incorporated, and most recently drove over 20 years for Perron Trucking in Campbellsport, retiring in 2014.
He loved hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include two sons: Jason Hogue of Sheboygan and Ryan Hogue of Armstrong; step-son: Brandon (Sue) Scheffen of Cascade; and sister: Aleida (Peter) Wohlgemuth of Greenbush.
He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Carl Hogue; and sister: Ruthie Borkowski.
A visitation to celebrate Roger’s life will take place on Thursday, November 14, 2019, from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Suchon Funeral Home, 1317 State Rd. 67, Plymouth, WI.
Military Rites will be conducted at 6 p.m. by the Ladewig-Zinkgraf American Legion Post #243 of Plymouth.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family to help with funeral costs.
