Kenneth John Stahl passed away at the Sheridan VA Mountain View Living Center on July 23, 2019.

Ken was born September 25, 1938, the son of the late Isidore and Eleanore (Godde) Stahl in West Bend, WI. He attended grade school in Boltonville, and high school in Kewaskum. Ken enlisted in the US Navy serving 1956-1957 on the USS Forrestal CVA-59. Following his military service, he returned to Wisconsin working for West Bend Aluminum. He married Marilyn Resee; they later divorced.

In 1972, Ken moved to Wyoming and married Beverly (Schulze) Jensen in Buffalo, WY, in 1975. He worked on various ranches in NE Wyoming and SE Montana, for The Sheridan Commercial Company, for Rantec in Ranchester, in the construction fields and for Sally Forbes.

Ken was an avid snowmobiler, riding powder throughout the states of Wisconsin, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. He served on the Board of Directors for the Wyoming Snowmobile Association for 20 years and was a member of the Iron Dog Brigade. He attended National and International Snowmobile Congresses in the United States and Canada. For many years, Ken organized auctions at Bear Lodge supporting Multiple Sclerosis and then for WY CARES. He was a Wisconsin sports backer, rooting for the Green Bay Packers, Badgers and Brewers. He also enjoyed English Darts and gambling.

Ken is survived by his wife, Beverly, of Ranchester, WY; sisters Sharon (Roger) Brite of Boltonville, WI and Maryann (Rusty) Saueressig of West Bend, WI; stepchildren Jeff Jensen of Waldo, WI, Robin (Dane) Gudex of Phoenix, AZ, Mark (Mary) Jensen of Cascade, WI, and Jim (Lori) Jensen of Cascade, WI; four step-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Kane Funeral Home, 689 Meridian, Sheridan, WY, on Tuesday, July 30, at 2 p.m. Inurnment with Military Honors was in the Elks Memorial Cemetery. A Celebration of Life followed at the Eagles #4169, 1760 Commercial Avenue, Sheridan, WY.
