Two Injured in Crash Near Fox Lake

Two women were injured in a two-vehicle crash early Monday on County Highway P near Pleasant Road, according to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the scene at about 7:34 a.m. on April 27. Authorities said a 2016 Nissan Altima driven eastbound by Fatima Sughayer, 34, of Berlin, attempted a U-turn and was struck by a 1999 Mercury Villager operated by Natasha Rechek, 45, of Cambria.
Sughayer was airlifted from the scene to UW Hospital in Madison with serious injuries. Rechek was taken by Fox Lake EMS to Marshfield Medical Hospital in Beaver Dam with suspected minor injuries.
Assisting at the scene were the Randolph Police Department, Randolph Fire Department, Randolph EMS, Fox Lake EMS, and Med Flight.
The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team.
