For the month of September libraries around the area are celebrating National Library Card Sign Up Month with Marsh Area Library BINGO. Participating libraries include: Iron Ridge Public Library, Hustisford Community Library, Horicon Public Library, Ted and Grace Bachhuber Memorial Library (Mayville), Juneau Public Library and Theresa Public Library.
This event encourages community members young and old to explore the wonderful libraries and all they have to offer in the area.
To pick up your card, visit any of the participating libraries or download and print it off from the chamber website. By doing activities around the libraries you can get BINGO. Each time you get BINGO you get an entry into a large drawing on Thursday, Oct. 1. They hope to do a Facebook live for the drawing.
The activities are things such as visiting the libraries, doing scavenger hunts, checking out books and attending events.
Make sure to return your BINGO card either when you complete a BINGO by Wednesday, Sept. 30 to a participating library to be entered into the prize drawing. Don’t forget to fill out the information on the back of the card. You may complete multiple BINGOs each for one entry.
Many of the participating libraries will also do smaller giveaways such as bookmarks, trinkets and other fun items as incentives.

In other library news on Thursday, Sept. 10 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. the quarter’s Women in Business meeting will be hosted at MPTC’s Horicon Campus. The meeting is open to anyone and being a chamber member is not a requirement. They will have a speaker to talk about “decluttering” your mind.
On Wednesday, Sept. 16 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Horicon Public Library Canva and Coffee will be held. You do not need to be a chamber member to attend or have a project that you are working on. It is a space to collaborate and share ideas together.
