LOMIRA – The School District of Lomira Board of Education met on June 10
Board Matters
The Lomira Softball Team, which qualified for the State Softball Tournament, was recognized by Principal Deb Janke and the School Board.
2026 Graduate breakdown: 27 Graduates to College, 13 Graduates to the Work Force, 10 Graduates to Vocational/Technical College, 5 Graduates to Job Training, 2 Graduates to Military.

School Board Approved Unanimously with a Vote of 9-0 Following New Business
Student Handbooks for the 2026-27 School Year.
Co-Curricular Code Handbooks for the 2026-27 School Year.
66.0301 agreement with Campbellsport School District for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services for the 2026-27 School Year.
Hired Joey Lutze as the High School Business Education Teacher for the 2026-27 School Year.
Three-Year contract with IXL Learning for Math and ELA for grades 5-12 after the School Board was given a presentation about the IXL program from services used in 2026 for nine weeks during the school year.
Contract for the new Elementary Principal, Shannon Izquierdo, for the 2026-27 School Year.
Izquierdo joins the School District of Lomira from the Wauwatosa School District, where she served as the Principal of Madison Elementary School for over two years. “What excites me most about joining Lomira is the opportunity to build something together,” said Shannon Izquierdo. “ I’m coming ready to listen first: to learn about our school, our families, and our students, and to discover what makes Lomira so special.”
Hired Traci Hanke as the Academic and Career Planning Coordinator and the Alternative Education Teacher for the 2026-27.
