In recognition of its commitment to developing the next generation of healthcare professionals, Clearview Health Campus has been named a 2026 Youth Apprenticeship Program honoree by CESA 6 as part of National Apprenticeship Week, April 26–May 2.
Clearview was selected for the Exceptional Youth Apprenticeship Mentor Award and recognized during an awards event held on March 30. The honor highlights organizations that demonstrate outstanding leadership in providing meaningful, career-connected learning opportunities for students.
“Our Clearview leaders and staff dedication play a vital role in preparing students for successful careers while strengthening our regional workforce,” said Interim Executive Director Alyssa Gahlman. “We appreciate all of our staff that take part daily in mentoring our youth apprentices.”
Through its youth apprenticeship program, Clearview offers hands-on experience, mentorship and career exposure to students interested in healthcare fields. This approach not only supports students in building valuable skills but also helps strengthen the regional workforce by encouraging graduates to remain and work in their home community.
Clearview has a unique health campus that includes facilities for assisted living, behavioral health, intellectual disabilities, nursing and rehabilitation, and a brain injury center, and has taken a proactive approach to addressing ongoing workforce shortages facing the healthcare industry. Like many providers nationwide, Clearview has experienced the challenges of recruiting and retaining skilled staff. In response, the organization has focused on building a sustainable workforce pipeline by investing in local youth and cultivating talent from within Dodge County.
