Theresa Station ROB BOWE CONTRIBUTOR Theresa was a bustling village of 450-plus people after the Civil War. Theresa was on a dirt road from Milwaukee through Lomira then onto Fond du Lac-Green Bay, hence there was a fair amount of traffic that came through the town patronizing its several hotels, saloons and other businesses. One thing it did not have was a railroad passing through it.

The Horicon girls’ team finished in sixth place with 28 points. Natalie Boehmer’s first place finish in long jump led the girls’ team on the day. The Horicon boys’ team finished in a tie for fifth place with 40 points.
