Amber B. Plato Amber B. Plato

Amber B. Plato of Iron Ridge passed away Sunday, Feb. 20.
She was born on July 21, 1999, in Dane County, the daughter of Derrick Plato and Tammy Wellhoefer.
Amber was a young, talented, and aspiring artist, dedicated pet mom and motivation to others.
After graduating from Horicon High School in 2018 as a 4-year honor student, she enrolled in the Art Education program at Carroll University. Although she was unable to complete her studies, she continued to create beautiful art pieces. Those fortunate enough to meet her acquaintance would soon realize her gentle and compassionate spirit. But, her positive, considerate and supportive nature was especially inspiring to those closest to her.
Such a kind and beautiful soul, taken from us much too soon, will be dearly missed……
but NEVER forgotten.
Amber is survived by her father, Derrick Plato of Iron Ridge; mother, Tammy Wellhoefer of Neosho; siblings, Ashley and Teygan; aunts, Michelle Plato of West Chicago and Carrie (Walter) Pfeil of Wittenberg; cousins, Devin Plato of Brandon, Walter Jr., Trenton, and Jaydon Pfeil. She is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Steward and Judith Plato, and Shirley Wellhoefer.
Reception will be held at Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home in Hartford, on Saturday, April 23, at 10 a.m., a short memorial service at 12:30 p.m. and a luncheon provided at 1 p.m.
